Our Team & Mission
Pioneers in professional cannabinoid wellness. A vertically integrated, all-women-owned Licensed Hemp Laboratory — rooted in science, created with intention, made with love.
Our Intention & Our Mission
Color Up is the established authority and pioneer in professional cannabinoid wellness. We operate as a vertically integrated, all-women-owned Licensed Hemp Laboratory — focused on supplying and empowering the small business ecosystem that is leading the future of wellness.
Our mission: redefine the supply chain of wellness by empowering licensed professionals with unparalleled full spectrum CBD products and education. We are certified educators committed to providing a safe space for cannabis reform through our Cannabis Master Program since 2019.
We create a counter-economy rooted in supply-side strategy, ensuring clean products circulate through small businesses. Our core focus is on whole body healing and autonomy over one's body. We maintain a rigorous standard of excellence, crafting small-batch, professional-grade products in our own CDPHE-licensed facility.
What Does It Mean to "Color Up"?
It means to elevate. To bring more color, balance, and vitality into your life.
We strive to provide a safe space for everyone to learn how to incorporate CBD and other cannabis constituents into their lives through education, connection, and clean products. We feel strongly about building and maintaining an educated community, so we strive to make our products, services, and information available to everybody, at every level.

Shauna Blanch, LMT, RYT, Co-founder & Co-owner
Shauna Blanch's life is defined by the grit and integrity she learned growing up in a family business, and the relentless drive to fight for better medicine and mental health care in America. Leaving the pharmaceutical industry after witnessing the height of the opioid crisis, she moved to the cannabis frontlines in 2013 with a conviction that healing gets lost in systems built purely for profit.
Since founding Color Up in 2015, Shauna has been the visionary force, turning a philosophy of plant-based wellness and community support into a trusted, national brand. Her journey is etched in years of standing up for her beliefs and she carries forward her parents' lesson: Do the hard work, stand by your people, and fight for what you believe in.
Amber Lanzaderas White-Benzel, B.Sc., Co-owner
Amber White-Benzel is a first-generation Filipino American from Denver, Colorado with a lifelong passion for wellness, plants, and spirituality. Her journey began in 2018 as a lab assistant at Color Up while completing her B.S. in Biology and Philosophy at Metropolitan State University of Denver. Over the years, she grew into leadership roles and, in 2025, became one of the co-owners of Color Up.
Living with an anxiety disorder inspired Amber’s mission to create intentional, plant-based skincare and to mentor women—especially those who have experienced trauma or debilitating anxiety—showing that healing and leadership are possible. She continues to bring compassion, creativity, and care into every part of her work, blending scientific precision with a holistic approach to wellness.
Ellen Blanch + Phil Blanch
Though they live all the way across the country, their voices are heard every day here in Colorado. They have been the guiding force behind our journey since the earliest days of Color Up, and their unshakeable belief in this mission grounded us through every transition—from the initial startup chaos, through our three year evolution back to our beloved Color Up name and branding.
