Our EXFOLIATE Enzyme Masque is available exclusively in backbar sizing to licensed professional skincare experts.

EXFOLIATE delivers the same enzymatic exfoliation system in a professional 4oz backbar size — designed for high-frequency facial treatment use. Bacillus Ferment Enzymes dissolve dead skin cells at the molecular level. Lactic Acid and Citric Acid provide complementary AHA exfoliation. L-Ascorbic Acid delivers antioxidant brightening. And 177mg of organic hemp-derived CBD (THC ≤0mg) modulates the inflammatory response that exfoliation can trigger in reactive and sensitized skin. EXFOLIATE uses Bacillus Ferment Enzymes to dissolve keratin proteins in dead skin cells without aggressive acid.

Ingredient breakdown

Cannabidiol (CBD) — 177mg Organic Hemp-Derived | THC ≤0mg — Modulates CB2 receptor activity in the skin's immune cells, reducing inflammatory cytokine signaling. Supports the skin's recovery from the exfoliation process. Particularly valuable for reactive, sensitized, and post-procedure skin that needs resurfacing without additional inflammatory burden. Non-intoxicating. Non-detectable THC on every batch COA.

Bacillus Ferment Enzymes — Proteolytic enzymes that break down keratin proteins in dead corneocytes without mechanical force. Steam-activated: applying steam during treatment significantly enhances enzyme activity and penetration depth. The gentlest form of exfoliation available.

Lactic Acid — AHA dissolving intercellular bonds holding dead skin cells together, complementing enzymatic action. Larger molecular size than Glycolic Acid — penetrates more slowly and gently. Also a humectant drawing moisture to the skin surface during exfoliation.

Citric Acid — AHA providing additional exfoliation and pH optimization. Maintains optimal pH range for enzyme function.

L-Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) — The most bioavailable form of Vitamin C. Antioxidant protection during exfoliation and post-exfoliation brightening. Works synergistically with the exfoliation system to reveal a more luminous, even-toned complexion.

Organic Hemp Seed Oil — Omega-rich, ceramide-supportive, non-comedogenic. Provides essential fatty acid nourishment and supports barrier function during and after exfoliation. Contains no cannabinoids.

Organic Aloe Vera — Humectant and anti-inflammatory botanical. Soothes reactive skin during exfoliation and supports hydration and comfort post-treatment.

How to use

Apply a generous layer to cleansed face, neck, and décolletage. Add steam to activate and enhance enzyme performance. Leave on 10–15 minutes, allowing the product to penetrate. Remove thoroughly with warm towel. Incorporate as part of exfoliation or prep in professional facial protocols.
