CBG from organic hemp seals the protocol with anti-inflammatory and barrier-supportive cannabinoid activity.

Cannabigerol (CBG) is often called the “mother cannabinoid” because it is the biosynthetic precursor from which CBD, THC, and other cannabinoids are derived. BUTTER UP delivers CBG specifically because its receptor profile and antibacterial properties make it the right cannabinoid for a deep-moisture body cream designed for compromised and depleted skin.

    Rich in oleic, stearic, and linoleic fatty acids plus triterpene alcohols with documented anti-inflammatory activity. Nature's most studied deep emollient — supports barrier repair, reduces TEWL, and provides lasting moisture without occlusion. Rich in fat-soluble vitamins A and E. Contains tree nuts (Shea Nut Butter).

    Organic Cocoa Butter (Theobroma cacao)
    Rich in stearic, palmitic, and oleic fatty acids. Creates a protective lipid barrier that seals in moisture and improves skin elasticity. Documented ability to improve the appearance of dry, rough, and environmentally stressed skin with consistent use.

    Organic Mango Seed Butter (Mangifera indica)
    Rich in stearic and oleic fatty acids plus antioxidant polyphenols. Deeply nourishing for depleted skin — supports barrier restoration, promotes a healthy radiant appearance, and provides lightweight emolliency that balances the richness of Shea and Cocoa Butter.

    Organic Oat Kernel Oil (Avena sativa)
    Rich in beta-glucan, avenanthramides, and linoleic acid. Documented anti-inflammatory and anti-itch properties — particularly effective for reactive, sensitized, eczema-prone, and environmentally stressed skin. Supports barrier function and provides lightweight, non-comedogenic hydration.

    Organic Hemp Seed Oil
    Omega-6 to omega-3 fatty acid ratio of approximately 3:1, mirroring the skin's natural lipid composition. Ceramide-rich — supports the skin's barrier function and moisture retention. Non-comedogenic. Contains no cannabinoids — distinct from CBG.

    Organic Jojoba Oil
    A liquid wax ester compositionally similar to human sebum. Prevents transepidermal water loss and provides lightweight conditioning that balances the richness of the butter base. Non-comedogenic.

    Organic Aloe Vera
    Humectant and anti-inflammatory botanical. Soothes reactive skin, supports hydration, and contributes to the cream's smooth, non-greasy absorption.

    Organic Lemongrass Essential Oil + Organic Eucalyptus Essential Oil
    A bright, clean aromatic profile with documented antimicrobial and anti-inflammatory properties. Lemongrass provides a fresh, uplifting scent; Eucalyptus contributes a cooling, clarifying finish. Note: patch test recommended for fragrance-sensitive skin.

    How to use

    Apply and gently massage a thin layer onto skin, re-apply as needed. For dry to very dry skin, apply after a bath or shower, lightly pat dry leaving a little moisture on your skin.
