Our Standards
Color Up sources only non-GMO, organically grown hemp processed in a cGMP-compliant facility. Every batch of raw CBD — whether pure isolate, distillate, or full spectrum — is tested by an independent, accredited third-party laboratory before it enters our formulations. We then conduct a 4th-party review: an additional independent verification of COA results to confirm accuracy and flag any discrepancies before product reaches professionals or retail customers.

What Do The Tests Mean?
A certificate of analysis (COA) is a document issued by an ISO-accredited laboratory that details the cannabinoid profile, potency, terpene analysis, and safety panel results for a specific CBD batch. Here’s what each section tells you:
Pure CBD Isolate Testing Results
Pure CBD isolate is 99%+ cannabidiol with all other plant compounds removed. COAs confirm CBD concentration and verify that THC is non-detectable — critical for professional and retail applications where THC-free pharmaceutical-grade CBD is required. Tests also screen for heavy metals (lead, arsenic, mercury, cadmium), residual solvents from extraction, and pesticide residues.
Our Full Spectrum Testing Results
Full spectrum hemp extract retains the complete cannabinoid and terpene profile of the plant, including trace THC (≤0.3% per federal law). COAs for full spectrum batches confirm the entourage-effect cannabinoid ratios, document the terpene profile driving synergistic benefits, and verify federal THC compliance. Heavy metal and pesticide panels are included on every full spectrum COA.
Finished Product Lab Test Results
Beyond raw ingredient testing, we test finished formulations to confirm that cannabinoid potency in the final product matches label claims — accounting for any changes that occur during manufacturing, emulsification, or heat processing.
3rd Party Lab Test Results
All Color Up CBD is tested by an independent, ISO-accredited laboratory with no financial relationship to our brand.
