An Important Update About Our Salves
After more than a decade of perfecting our Salves, and 7 years with the exact same person crafting them, we’ve recently discovered that it hasn’t been holding its integrity during shipping like it used to. We’ve been in constant communication with our ingredient manufacturers and we’ve been testing alternative suppliers to determine what’s causing this and whether it’s due to a broader supply or ingredient issue.
Please know — the formula has not changed. The only adjustment in recent years was the removal of beeswax to make the product fully vegan and PETA certified. However, given what we’re seeing, we are strongly considering reintroducing sustainably harvested beeswax to restore the stability you’ve come to expect, while still honoring our commitment to ethical sourcing and sustainability.
If your Salve arrives melted, please email us right away — we’ll make it right. In the meantime, we encourage you to continue ordering as usual–the majority are arriving without incident, and every jar is still made with the same care, ingredients, and mission as always. Your trust and support mean everything to us, and we are determined to get this resolved quickly.
