Created to balance the mind, body, and spirit, Color Up’s award-winning CBD products are formulated with the finest botanical extracts, plant oils, and clinically proven active ingredients. We intend to cultivate balance, harmony, and ease by evoking the power of self-healing for each of our customers. Due to our commitment to creating clean, natural, and pure products, our Pro and Life lines have been approved to be used on Oncology patients and those with compromised immune systems. We put our products into service by integrating Eastern and Western therapeutic bodywork, massage, esthetics, yoga, art therapy, nutrition, breathwork, personal training, Reiki, and meditation into our list of offerings. We have Oncology Trained Estheticians and Massage Therapists practicing within the Wellness Center, as well as a Student Spa where local massage and esthetics student interns earn practicum hours by offering discounted services to our community, as well as studying closely with our Color Up educators. In 2020 we began offering NCBTMB approved Continuing Education (CEU) classes both online and in-house. We are committed to offering more opportunities for education as we continue to grow as a community and a company.

The Color Up Mission

Our mission is to provide a safe space for everyone to learn how to incorporate CBD and other cannabis constituents into their lives through education, connection, and clean products. It is our intention to help lead our community into a healthier, happier, and more harmonious lifestyle. We feel strongly about building and maintaining an educated community, so we strive to make our products, services, and information available to everybody, at every level. We lead with our hearts and believe that when acting for the highest and greatest good of the whole, we will make a positive impact on our world.

What Does It Mean To “Color Up”?

In gambling, Color Up means to cash in your lower denominational chips for higher denominational chips; similar to trading in lower vibrations for higher ones. The term “Color Up” describes our mission, our intention, and our values; it represents coloring up your life in every way. Coloring up your attitude, choices, diet, skincare routine, lifestyle, chakras, and most importantly coloring up your self-care – through nutrition, mindfulness, movement, plants, and more educated choices. Our logo represents triangle breathing, a form of Pranayama that focuses on relaxing the mind, body, and spirit. The triangle leaf is cut into 7 intentional spaces to represent the chakras; it is a symbol of health and wellness, a way to find balance and harmony, and a way to stay connected to mother earth and all of her colorful offerings.

Our Story

Finding Balance And Healing With CBD

When our three co-founders met through the cannabis industry back in 2013, they immediately recognized the need for more education around the therapeutic benefits of the cannabis plant. They began educating friends and family on the positive impact cannabis has on the wellbeing of our body, mind, spirit, and planet. A couple of years later, one of the co-founders started massage school and the three started mixing topical formulations together that she would use on them during practice sessions. What began as an experiment turned into their entire world later in the year when Kali, their beloved bulldog, had a series of illnesses leading up to a cancer diagnosis. After meeting with several oncologists and hitting dead-ends, they made the decision to treat her with cannabis. They began utilizing high THC, low CBD marijuana plants, but after recognizing the intoxicating effects they switched her over to high CBD hemp plants and found the results to be profound. Through this process they saw the need for cleaner, more effective CBD products to go along with the education they were providing, so they began creating internal formulations to add to their topical line. In February of 2015 they created Color Up Therapeutics, an education-based CBD company focused on creating clean, active products for professionals to utilize in services.

Spreading Love Through CBD

Kali’s life was extended by a year and that was just the beginning. In 2017 they launched their massage products at Denver Integrative Massage School, built their first CBD Wellness Center and certified production lab on South Broadway in Denver, and one year later in March of 2018 launched their Professional skincare line at the School of Botanical and Medical Aesthetics. Now through a lot of love and support from the community, they are located in a beautiful 12K sqft sanctuary down the road from their first brick and mortar, they continue to formulate and manufacture their own products, put them into service by providing a full backbar and wholesale option for professionals, and educate the community on how to introduce cannabis into a healthy lifestyle. They host workshops and informational events open to the public. They teach cannabinoid focused classes at several schools and wellness spaces around the country. They offer a full online Cannabis Master education program that is available to professionals, a Student education program available to those currently enrolled in esthetics, massage, or Cosmetology school, and a Wellness Provider track for those in the healthcare industry such as chiropractors, yoga instructors, physical therapists and more! They also host weekly interactive webinars for both professionals and consumers as well as interviews with top players in the industry. Within the CBD Wellness Center there are both professionals and students of aesthetics and massage who utilize Color Up’s products in their treatments. All of Color Up’s products are formulated and produced within their Wellness Center and are infused with heart-centered love, intention, and healing energy.

All of our ingredients and end products are cruelty-free, clean, and natural. Each formulation is safe not only for our own bodies, but also for our planet. We use bio-compatible, skin identical ingredients such as vegan squalane, hyaluronic acid, and peptides, and our products are lightly scented with the highest quality organic essential oils, isolates, terpenes, and plant extracts for therapeutic and aromatic effects. They do not contain isopropyl or SD alcohol, abrasive exfoliants, sulfates, parabens, phthalates, silicones, mineral oils, petrolatums, ethoxylated compounds, or synthetic fragrances and dyes. All products are made with love, and in small batches at the Color Up Wellness Center which is attached to our shipping and customer support center. Keeping everything in-house limits our carbon footprint and increases our positive impact on the planet.

We source from ethical, cruelty-free and conscious suppliers, and each ingredient is meticulously researched and selected by both our Biologists and Chemists.
